In our modern day society, we spend a lot of our time in a highly functioning state - productive, alert, busy. There is nothing wrong with this, but many of us are finding it harder and harder to drop back into our rest and digest state. Ongoing issues like chronic anxiety, poor sleep, exhaustion, immune system issues, menstrual and fertility challenges, or digestive problems start to arise. And, speaking from experience, once you feel stuck in this state, it can feel so hard to come back from. The layout of this 8 week immersion reflects my favourite phrase... Take what you need, leave what you don't. When we're overwhelmed, taking in new information or sitting through long classes may not be what your nervous system can, or wants to deal with. Here, you are welcome to take what you need, and come back for the rest when ready. The 8 week format is there for some gentle accountibility, but the content, and support, will be there as long as you need it. WHATS INCLUDED: ~ 8 x 15 minute pre recorded 'mini reset' classes, released each Monday. Tangible techniques, from breath work, to gentle movement, self massage - all specifically designed to calm the nervous system. These minis will be your bread and butter, available to complete any time you like, as many times as you like. ~ 4 x digestible lectures on the nervous system and stress, released every second Monday. The inner workings of our body and brain, why and how the techniques work. Knowledge is power! ~ 3 x live 60 minute zoom sessions. Soothe, connect, review content, and share questions or insights. These sessions will be recorded, but confidentially kept within our safe container. Dates below, subject to change to suit group. ~ Exclusive access to our private facebook group. A safe space where we'll share journal prompts, resources, experiences or insights, and support. This course has been a long time in the making, combining my trainings and experiences in nervous system regulation, restorative yoga, meditation, embodiment, pranayama, the importance of fascia, and hormonal health... with a side dose of my favourite things - rituals, forming habit, journalling and connection.
