Sacred Symbols
A festive day retreat to lead us calmly into the silly season with wreath making
Service Description
Join myself and my talented husband Daniel, (best described as part man, part tree by his closest friends) for a special yuletide event weaving together connection to self, others, nature & our creativity. Together we have created a very special day retreat to honour the beginning of winter and lean into a little calm as we approach the silly season. We begin the day with some gentle movement and guided meditation to connect to the JOY of the winter season. A guided chakra mediation will help us connect to our inspiration and intuition. We will use this inspiration to create our own personalised greetings card for friends and family using sacred symbols and images. Wreaths have been made throughout history as a symbol of the eternal cycle of life, with its circular shape and use of evergreen branches. They represent hope, joy, and light, during the darkness of the winter solstice. All materials to make the wreath will be provided, although you are welcome to bring any special additions from your garden or kitchen to weave in. As we create our wreaths we will weave our intentions and hopes into them for the winter season. Lunch provided by our local chef Annwen, along with herbal or Chai teas, and festive treats.
