It was amazing from start to finish, every little detail was thought about and you could tell Rachel had poured her heart and soul into it. Life is so busy that you never have a spare moment, this weekend was all about us and it felt amazing. Can't wait for the September one!

Our Tuscan Villa

It feels like the perfect place to hold a retreat focused around our nervous systems, maybe this doesn't need explaining (especially if you just felt your whole being lean in) but I'm going to.

 

Regulation comes in many forms.

Yes, it's the tool kits, the breath work, the neuro science (and we will be diving deep into these)

 

But it's also our capacity to experience joy, witness beauty, receive pleasure.

 

It can all become so serious sometimes (ask me how I know) and what I was really really craving for us all, was the expressive, passionate, light hearted joy that I know Italian culture brings to the table.

 

Hand in hand with the brainy, serious, trauma informed part.

 

Balance.

Meet Rachel

As someone that has made it our of the other side of anxiety, insomnia and low self worth,

I want more for the women around me. 

I feel incredibly passionate about sharing the tools that helped me get there.

I weave together mindful movement, cyclical & seasonal living, nervous system regulation, and women's circles to create a safe yet magic space for us to unravel.

And after over 5 years of working with women and their nervous systems, I have realised that this is my mission....

Yes, I want you to sleep well, and feel tension free,

Yes, I want you to learn how to regulate your individual nervous system...

But not just so we can feel calm and collected.

So that we have the capacity for more

More joy, more presence, more self worth, more experiences,

more life.

So that you can awaken to the rhythms of your body.

To your full unapologetic self,

So you can be and feel more like you.

DAY ONE

DAY TWO

9.30am Morning movement ~ Lymphatic Flow

11am: Full Nervous System Reset

1pm: Lunch

3pm: Activity Time: Wine and cheese tasting

8.30pm: Evening relaxation yoga Nidra

11am: Rewiring your Inner voice for self kindness

3pm: Activity Time: 4 course Italian cooking class

11am: Nurturing your Inner Child

Time by the pool, reading beneath the wisteria blooms, napping, walking, watching the sunset

Our daily nervous system deep dive workshops will both be aimed at helping us to reset and replenish, as well as giving you tools and knowledge to take home for lasting change.

Whats Included?

~ 4 nights in a gorgeous traditional Tuscan Villa nestled in the tranquility of nature.

~ All meals, snacks, treats and non alcoholic drinks lovingly prepared by our local Italian chef from Wednesday dinner to Sunday Breakfast.

All sessions are included but optional, you may find you want to sleep in or go for a stroll or a soak,

The Details

The Tuscan region is famous for its rolling hills, vineyards, olive groves, and cypress trees create picture-perfect Italian vistas - this is the view from our villa garden!

It being spring, I'm hoping the wisteria is out in bloom too.

 

Our Venue:

A gorgeous traditional farmhouse in the Chianti area, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, with a walled patio garden with a small octagonal plunge pool and a spectacular view towards the villas on the surrounding hills.

 

We are 30 minutes drive from Siena and Florence.

Pisa and the Tuscan coast are around an hours drive away.

 

Our hosts will be providing us with a local chef, both for delicious shared meals, and an Italian cooking class, as well as olive oil, cheese and wine tastings from the neighbouring working farm.

FAQs

Do I have to participate in all of the activities?

Absolutely not! Everything is there to take and leave as you wish. It is however quite important for the group that you make the opening and closing circles, the rest is up to you.

Can you accomodate dietary requirements

Yes we can, but I would just note that a big part of this trip will be the delicious Italian pizza and pasta dishes. Please contact Rachel with details of your requirements and we can see if it will be a good fit together.

Can I join if I have injuries or conditions?

Yes absolutely. Adaptations can be made where we need, although all of our practices will be very gentle. Please contact Rachel about your exact requirements so we can ensure we can make it as comfortable as possible. 

If I cancel will i get a refund? 

The £200 deposit to secure your space is non refundable. due to the last minute nature of this retreat, I cannot guarantee a refund but we can try to work together toward finding someone to take your place.

Do I need any experience? 

Not at all. Many of our regular community only began yoga or attending circles just this year. You do not need to have been on a retreat before. My main pillar is to always create a welcoming and inclusive environment. 

Can I come alone?

Absolutely! As I mentioned, it is always key to me that we are in a welcoming and inviting environment, whether you come with someone or alone.
